About Titans of Industry

Founded in 2008 by a group of local far-sighted members in the construction industry to bring the various branches of the construction industry closer in touch with each other. To bring about cooperation and a general uplifting of business within the professional trades throughout the Kentuckiana area.

Titans of Industry serves any person, firm or association in any branch of the construction industry which employs laborers in actual construction work, furnishes supplies and materials, or performs other work or business related to the construction industry.

Membership includes, among others, general contractors, specialty contractors, architects, engineers, builders, interior designers, suppliers, manufacturers, material distributors, insurance agencies, bonding companies, law firms, computer-related businesses and accounting firms.

When Attending Events

Members are not in competition with one another. Likewise, during business networking functions members cannot invite guests who would be in competition with anyone else in the same, or similar, business or service. Once a member is logged in he or she can announce who his or her guest will be for the next social. Guest announcements are on a first come first accepted basis.

During events, each member and guest will have at least five minutes to educate the group about their businesses' products and/or services. If these events are conducted correctly they should result in new business alliances.

The Website

Members have access to fellow member profiles and highlights of guests whom have attended a function. If a member finds a guest they would like to contact, with the click of the mouse they can request an introduction from the member who invited them for an introduction.

Your Host

Titans of Industry was inspired and created by Louisville entrepreneur Ralph Severson, general contractor and owner of Flooring Masters & Professional Remodelers, established in 1990, and is also an independent on-line business consultant and owner of Graph|FX Media. Mr. Severson was also the founder and previous owner of Blackstone Media which he sold in 2010 after 14 successful years. As a previous member of several area luncheon and networking groups utilized to build his media companies, Mr. Severson recognized the need for an organization where true decision makers – rather than sales associates and other lower-level representatives – could meet, share ideas, and strengthen partnerships within the construction industry.

Today, Mr. Severson continues to guide and co-host Titans of Industry events weaving the Kentuckiana top decision makers within the construction industry into a community of leaders who can share contacts and best practices. Like any community, its strength lies in its membership. So if you make the decisions that matter for your company, we invite you to come to one of our meetings.
